Today we want to highlight Cellar Bird Books, a new independent bookstore that recently opened on the west side of Grand Rapids.
About Cellar Bird Books
Lea, the owner of the bookstore, had a lifelong dream of opening a bookstore, and that dream came true in November of this year. In 2021, she moved to Grand Rapids with her husband, fell in love with the city, and decided this was the perfect place to bring her dream to life. The name “Cellar Bird” was inspired by the many times she found birds flying around in her basement.
What Do They Offer?
Cellar Bird Books offers a thoughtfully curated selection of new books for all ages and interests. Their collection includes: Chapter books Picture books Romance Mystery Fantasy Sci-Fi Horror Poetry Memoirs Humor True Crime Comics And more!
In addition to books, they also sell handmade items such as bookmarks, candles, coloring books, crochet toppers, greeting cards, and more.
