Grand Rapids is closing out May with a packed lineup of music, food, and community events. Here’s what’s happening around the city this weekend:

Billy Strings at Van Andel Arena
GRAMMY Award-winning bluegrass artist Billy Strings returns to Grand Rapids for two nights of live music at Van Andel Arena, this Friday and Saturday. The Spring Tour brings Strings and his longtime band to the stage with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Tickets are available now HERE.

Parade of Homes
The 2025 Spring Parade of Homes starts this weekend and continues through next weekend. One ticket allows entry into all homes on the tour during event hours. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the homes or online during the event. Children 12 and under are free with an adult. Virtual tours are also available for viewing online for up to a year.

Rapid River Stillhouse Brunch Cruise
On Sunday, June 1, the Rapid River Stillhouse Brunch Cruise offers a blend of classic cars, motorcycles, and brunch. This casual car and motorcycle show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free entry. Attendees can enjoy house-crafted whiskey and brunch favorites while browsing a lineup of classic vehicles.
