As fall settles in, Grand Rapids and West Michigan are packed with live shows, festivals, and community celebrations. From comedy legends to Polish heritage parades, here’s a roundup of what’s happening this weekend.


Friday, October 3

Adam Sandler: You’re My Best Friend Tour

  • 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM | Van Andel Arena
    Adam Sandler brings his sold-out comedy tour to Grand Rapids. Fresh off his Netflix specials and the record-breaking debut of Happy Gilmore 2, Sandler promises an evening of comedy, music, and entertainment.

ArtPrize Awards Ceremony

  • 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM | Studio Park
    Celebrate the winning artists of ArtPrize 2025 at this one-night-only ceremony. Expect live performances, standout fashion, and recognition of the pieces that defined this year’s competition.


Saturday, October 4

Hannah Berner: None of My Business Tour

  • 8:00 PM | GLC Live at 20 Monroe
    Comedian and podcast host Hannah Berner brings her sharp and relatable comedy to Grand Rapids. Doors open at 7:00 PM.

Harvest Festival at Blandford Nature Center

  • 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    Enjoy fall at this family-friendly festival featuring crafts, games, apple cider, rope making, wildlife presentations, and food trucks. Special activities include scarecrow-making and demonstrations in the Log Cabin and Blacksmith Shop.


All Weekend

Pulaski Days

  • Now through October 5
    The 53rd annual Pulaski Days brings the halls of Grand Rapids to life with live polka bands, kielbasa eating contests, parades, and cultural events. With over a dozen halls participating, it’s one of the city’s biggest celebrations of Polish heritage.

Mums at Meijer Gardens

  • October 1 – October 31 | Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
    The 27th annual display transforms the gardens with thousands of chrysanthemums, pumpkins, and gourds. Autumn Nights return every Tuesday in October with food trucks, pumpkin carving, live music, and children’s activities.

ArtPrize 2025: Final Weekend

  • September 18 – October 4 | Downtown Grand Rapids
    Eighteen days of public art culminate in the final weekend. Explore installations across downtown before voting closes and winners are announced.
