Grandville, MI — Chicken lovers, rejoice. The Grand Rapids area is officially getting a second Raising Cane’s, and this one’s headed straight for Rivertown Parkway.
The Grandville Planning Commission just gave the green light for a special land use permit at 3980 Rivertown Parkway, the former Sears Auto Center spot near Rivertown Crossings Mall.
What’s on the Menu
If you’ve been to Cane’s before, you know the drill: crispy chicken fingers, golden fries, creamy coleslaw, buttery Texas toast, and their signature Cane’s Sauce. That’s the entire lineup — and that’s the point. You can get it as a classic combo, sandwich, or kids’ meal.
What to Expect
The Grandville location will include:
A drive-thru for quick pickup
Indoor dining
An outdoor patio for warmer months
This new site follows the first Grand Rapids-area Raising Cane’s opening later this November on 28th Street, marking the brand’s continued expansion across West Michigan.
Why It Matters Locally
Rivertown Parkway continues to see steady retail growth, with new restaurants and redevelopment breathing new life into older retail spaces. The addition of Raising Cane’s signals strong confidence in the area’s consumer traffic — and more dining options for both Grandville residents and mall-area visitors.
📍 Location: 3980 Rivertown Parkway, Grandville, MI
🍗 Opening: TBD (construction to follow permit approval)
