Whitecaps Baseball Is Back: Here’s What’s Coming to LMCU Ballpark This May & June

Baseball season is officially underway in West Michigan, and the West Michigan Whitecaps are back with a stacked schedule of games, giveaways, and themed nights at LMCU Ballpark.

If you’re looking for family fun, community spirit, or just an excuse to enjoy a ballpark evening, the Whitecaps have you covered.

A Season Built for the Community

More than just baseball, the Whitecaps’ mission is to create affordable family entertainment that brings West Michigan together. Their partnership with Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) takes that even further, aligning with both organizations’ shared commitment to supporting the communities they serve.

What’s Happening at the Ballpark?

From Princess Night to Star Wars Night, this season is packed with creative theme nights, giveaways, and fan-friendly extras. Here are a few highlights coming to LMCU Ballpark this May and June:

May Highlights

  • May 6–11 vs. Lansing: Includes Bluey Night (May 9 & 10), School Day (May 8), and Kids Run the Bases on Family Sunday (May 11) 
  • May 20–25 vs. Great Lakes: Look out for Princess Night and a post-game family dance (May 23), a Max Clark bobblehead giveaway and fireworks (May 24), and Military Appreciation Night (May 25) 

June Highlights

  • June 3–8 vs. Lake County: Events include Pride Night (June 5), Girl Scout Night (June 6), and Las Calaveras de West Michigan (June 8) 
  • June 17–22 vs. Wisconsin: Featuring National Mascot Day (June 17), First Responders Night and Dog Day (June 18), Dueling Pianos Night (June 19), and fireworks on multiple nights 

Weekly traditions return too: Winning Wednesdays, Thrifty Thursdays, and Family Sundays with Kids Run the Bases make for easy recurring fun all season long.
