Summer in West Michigan rolls on with another weekend packed full of concerts, festivals, and family events. Whether you're in the mood for holiday cheer in July, live music, a triathlon, or treasure hunting at a rummage market, there’s plenty to get on your calendar.


Friday, July 25

A Taste of Christmas in July
12:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Downtown Market
It may be the middle of summer, but the Downtown Market is serving up holiday cheer with a preview of Christkindl Markt drinks. Try exclusive Christmas beer, Kinderpunsch, and the debut of Eierpunsch. All drinks are available for purchase during the event.

Local Authors Book Signing
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Amway Grand Plaza Lobby
Meet local authors Jill Barry-Cowan and Crystal Brown during this family-friendly event. Barry-Cowan will be signing her Millie Dream Series at Grand Kids, and Brown will be at Plaza Essentials with her book If I Can’t Be At Your Feet.

West Michigan Italian Festival – Day One
Begins at 11:00 AM | Downtown Grand Rapids
Celebrate Italian heritage with live music, a blessing of the festival at noon, bocce practice, kids’ activities, happy hour, and entertainment from Pino Marrelli from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. $5 drinks all day at the Festa Beer and Wine Garden.

LOCASH with Prior Noon
Doors 6:30 PM | Show 7:30 PM | 20 Monroe Live
Country duo LOCASH brings their feel-good energy to downtown Grand Rapids. With new releases and support from Prior Noon, this promises to be a big night for fans of modern country music.

FIKA Late Night
6:30 PM – 10:00 PM | FIKA
FIKA hosts a laid-back summer night with a limited bar food menu, mocktails from Squibb, a vintage clothing pop-up by TOAD, and a screening of Mrs. Doubtfire at 7:30 PM.


Saturday, July 26

Tri Millennium
6:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Millennium Park
Sprint and Olympic distance triathlon events take over Millennium Park, with options for duathlon, aquabike, and youth races. Whether you're competing or cheering from the sidelines, it’s one of the top active events of the season.

West Michigan Italian Festival – Day Two
11:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Downtown Grand Rapids
The second day of the festival includes the Peter Secchia Memorial Bocce Cup, a spaghetti eating contest at 3:00 PM, comedy at 4:30 PM, and live music by The Sheer Bliss Trio from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

Hamilton
7:30 PM | DeVos Performance Hall
The award-winning musical continues its Grand Rapids run. A revolutionary story with unforgettable music and choreography.


Sunday, July 27

Summer Rummage Sale
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Fulton Street Market
A mix of garage sale, flea market, and vintage pop-up. Shop clothing, vinyl, kitchenware, books, furniture, and more. Food trucks and concessions will be on-site. Come ready to dig through unique finds and support local sellers.

Hamilton
7:30 PM | DeVos Performance Hall
