Horrocks Market opened its Grand Rapids location in 2002, expanding on a family business started by Jerry Horrocks more than 50 years ago. Since day one, the market has focused on building a respectful, team-oriented environment that shows in the quality of products and customer service.
The garden center is a year-round destination, known for its seasonal plants, houseplants, vegetables, landscape supplies, and flowers. Staff maintain everything daily—watering, trimming, fertilizing—and are available to help customers find what they need.

The floral department sources flowers and greenery from local and global growers, restocking three times per week. Customers can browse thousands of stems or order custom arrangements from on-site designers, all at competitive prices.
Inside, Horrocks offers a wide variety of grocery items including locally raised meat, Michigan eggs, and specialty items from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Asia, and Mexico. Shoppers can find unique pastas, vinegars, teas, oils, condiments, gluten-free and sugar-free options, and more.
The Beer & Wine Department features 50 rotating taps, with a selection of craft beer, cider, and mead from around the world. Shoppers can sip while they shop, sample flights, or fill growlers to take home. Weekly events at the in-store tavern bring in brewery reps and hard-to-find beers.
Horrocks is a go-to for plants, groceries, and drinks in Grand Rapids—and has been for over two decades, what’s your favorite part of Horrocks
