Have you heard of Rosa Parks Circle? It’s a popular spot in the center of downtown Grand Rapids, known for hosting summer concerts and other events. In the winter, it transforms into an ice-skating rink open to all ages.
The rink was designed by internationally known artist Maya Lin. Admission is affordable—$3 for kids (skates included) and $6 for adults. They also offer season punch cards for those who plan to visit frequently.
Rosa Parks Circle is located near several great dining and treat options. Uccello’s is right next door if you’re in the mood for lunch or dinner, and Sweet Yo’s is close by for dessert after skating.
This area of Grand Rapids has plenty to explore, so be sure to stop by before the rink closes for the season.
